Hey all i've been reading the site for awhile but havent been able to register until now.
Anyway will be spending my second season in whistler this year (already have my job) but i need a place to live. Was in staff housing last year but had to do almost a month of couch surfing before i could get in. Saw one ad on here awhile ago so just thought i'd try my luck here this year. I'm a good tenant i swear!
email me bc_boostin@hotmail.com if you know of anything

yeah, great fun - with a call:call back ratio of about 50:1 .
If it is just you there are quite a few people renting out rooms in the 'shared accomodation' classifieds or check the major notice boards - Creekside Husky, Hotbox internet, Laundromat at Nesters, and at The Gone Bakery in Alpine.
You can get into some superpimp houses this way. Except the meet&greet is pretty painful. Its worse than getting a job! I dont know how the average scruff you see walking around town EVER gets a place in Whistler !

Ok for the record and for anyone else reading this considering this. Of course you shouldnt right off agree to living with/renting from someone over the internet, however it is no different from getting an ad out of the local paper, you can run into some freaky people and a shitty place if you dont check it out.
Anyway the reason i posted on here is because i've gone through the hunting shit with the adds from the pique and the question last year and it wasnt exactly a pleasant experience, you have to deal with rude renters who already rented but havent removed the add, leaving dozens of messages, etc. etc. Here, It took 2 seconds to put up, didnt cost anything so hell, why not add another method to the list?
You guys must be really jaded by some retarded people on here because you give no credit, do you really think anyone would rely solely on an internet room wanted ad to find a place? Yes i'm aware of all the papers, when they come out and all that other fun junk.

bah whatever, wasnt' trying to give any attitude just frustrated at some of the replies and trying to explain myself. The grief people get on here doesnt seem worth it. I now see why you'd say dont live with someone from NS

i talked to a few ppl on ns prior to moving to whistler, and after meeting some ppl im very glad that i didn't agree to live with them. However all 3 of my roommates are on newschoolers. And they're great boys.

Trust me if you don't already have a hook up for a place to rent the best thing to do is sleep your way around until you find somthing that fits your style. WELCOME TO WHISTLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
