how long is there snow on the mountains in your area, it has too be skiable, just wondering because i heard you could ski whistler for 12 months a year but didnt beleive it, where has the longest(in months) skiable are

Michigan has skiing for about 6 months in some places. But its usually on one run for the first and last month.

Utah..... From Mid Nov. to Mid April sometimes (depending on the year) till June... That's six months every year sometimes seven/seven and a half.

There is snow on and around Whistler all year round (hence the glaciers) but it just depends how badly you want to ski. I was up at Black tusk last October 29th and the snow was super good. You could ski Whistler and its backcountry all year round.

Fernie is open from early december until april 15th. It could be open longer, but they're all about the tourists. There's enough snow to start hiking end of september/early october and you can easily keep hiking until june.

fernie is soo badl late year, this spring it melted like 60cm overnight, so it was ice, we went to new mexico, it is PHAT!

in wisconsin like 90% of the resorts open in mid dec. and close in mid march but at tyrol they open in mid nov and close in april and some summers they have a summer pipe!
