TM vs. STL

yea i know everybody hates the vs. threads but i wanna know more bout the STL cause ive never skied it. Im on troublemakers right now and they aight not many complaints except for durability. How does the STL compare to it? It'd be good if you only reply if you've skied on at least one of these skis. thanks

i haven't heard anyone complain about the stls. they're a pretty sick ski.

I've found my stl's a little too soft for skiing fast, but they're pretty sweet in the park. They're extremely light, they feel like snowblades on my feet.

I have and ski both the STL and the TM. The STL is a great ski, awesome in the park... real light and spins like nothing else I have tried. But in my opinion the TM handles all mountain a little better due to the sidecut.

yeah, alot of former tm riders us stls now (myself included). they are definatly nicer, but because they are more symetrical than tms pintail sidecut, they arnt as stable at speed. the tms were absolutely fine for me at 50+ mph, the stls definatly arnt. but its a much better jib ski. i like the tms more on jumps though.

alright thanks guys. but im gettin the feeling that they are almost too light? is skiin all mountain on these skis kinda sketchy? Just wanna kno cause im thinkin of gettin em for next year, o well ill guess ill just have to demo or somethin.
