I was at the bird the past 3 days and because of stable avy conditions everything was open, including the twin peaks hike. Realizing that this part of the mtn only opens a few times a year (2-3 days). We hiked the approx 1,000 vertical feet and skied 'Pipeline' It really opened my eyes to alpine touring. Skiing sweet lines is definetly worth the effort.
Yup i toured snowbird a few times this week, upper tigertail touring kicks ass. We skiied those peaks all the way down to the canyon road and hitch hiked back to the resort, must have been 4500+ feet of vert runs. Alta BC is good too and always open.
We pay our debt sometimes.
The bc in litle cottonwood is amazing.
Yeah, although it's not bc, we skied Baldy Chutes up at Alta on sat. Fun stuff... LCC til the day I D-I-E.
We gonna whack it til the wheels fall off.
