RANDOM STORY - I don't know if I've told anyone on this site before but...on christmas day night (Dec. 25th night), I slid a bearing case for a skateboard on my ring finger. The 'ring chose not to come off, and it was stuck on for the night. I awoke to some swelling, thus furthering the problem. I ended up going to the jewlers shop to use a ring cutter, and the paint of the outside of the casing was all that was scratched. Later, I ended up in the emergency room. An extremely buff male nurse tourqed some string around my finger so tight that it looked like my pinkey. All that happened was the swelling clumped up right at the knuckle, just above my 'ring'. I then got some morphein, which was pretty cool. After that, the orthipedic surgeon couldn't get it off with a saw and some other stuff. Then my parents friend, a dentist, who was at a party phoned my mom to ask where she was. After telling the dentist my story of woe, he immediately had a solution. We met him at his dentists office at 10 at night...he had had a few drinks. I was kinda freaked out by this, but the morphein was willing to go through with anything. He used this tiny drill that they use to get through teeth. Like 10 drill bits later, the ring was off. I had this fucking nasty ass gouge underneath wear it was, probably from mr. male nurse having his way with me. The next day we were going up to my mountain for 5 days, I didn't get to ski the first day because of the morphein, although the rest of the trip was successful.
