any good fighting tips?

so I fooled around with this girl a few times awhile back and it turns out she has a jealous long distance boyfriend. apparently he's been looking for me when he comes into town. i am currently dating a close friend of that girl and we are all going to their school's formal on saturday together. the girls have told me this guy will most likely start shit, probably at the afterparty. i have never seen him before, but i think he might have a little size on me. im in good shape and i work out, but i dont fight so i have no technique. any simple tips? and plz dont bother saying 'fighting is not the answer'. i know that but if this fucker jumps me ima have to defend myself. im gonna get some prep from my buddies who know how to fight, but im bored so thought id see if NS has anythin to offer.

yeah i bet there will be cameras around. no promises tho, like i said i have no reason to want to fight this guy so nothin will go down if he dosnt come at me. My friends have shown me some good stuff, this was just to see if anyone else had some useful tips.

man i am not sure if anyone has said this but keep your hands up then fight because if you have some sort of defence when he hits you it wont hurt as badly and if you get lucky he will only hit your arm then just punch him square in the nose. o and go watch rocky before the fight

if its just a normal fight, wich seems like it is, just kick him in the balls and walk off. if you actually need to defend your life, go to the hardware store and buy a chain, and wear it around your waste and you can knock somebody out in one blow.

rememember to have a low wide stance when your not punching because he'll tackle you if hes bigger, if he does than wait for that moment when hes only go on leg on the ground because hes pushing into you and then push with all youve got. but try to avoid getting on the ground

its not gonna be a long epic battle like in a movie- its gonna be short and dirty.
just remember three things and you'll be set. punch through him, not at him, get the first punch and hit him in the nose HARD, show him you mean business, and dont be afraid to get hit.
