I tried snowboarding today to shut up some of my friends. I can say it wasn't that hard and I did fine, but I dont understand the who-ha about it. I can truthfully say I will never do it again. I love skiing and it seems more natural to me. Just thought I would share.
you just lost your ski virginity
And get this, on the news the other day they did a big story about old people dropping dead from heat exhaustion. They urged my community to donate fans to keep them alive!! Tell you what, I'll donate my pubes to shove in their mouths, but I'll be damned if I donate anything electrical or useful. - random net person that i found on a site shown to me by apple
I tried it for one run and just bombed ass down the hill and when it came time to turn I caught my toe edge and nearly broke my neck, I continued this process all the way to the lift, that was the last time I'll ever snowboard
-Nick Martini Stept Productions go buy 'to whom it may concern' Liberty skis So what?..... So lets dance! He's going to duct tape it to his leg and release it to fend off other male competitors, like a sword fish. -skiierman
i agree. i snowboarded with my girlfriend once for her christmas present because she really wanted to learn how. i took a lesson with her and everything. holy shit it was so fucking gay. after i had a shag i dumped her and went back to skiing. skiing over girls any day. fuck girls.

i can snowboard pretty good (not jumps and shit, but just carving) and it's fun for a few runs or just to mess around with if you want a relaxing day off kind of thing, but to do it all the time would just get old very fast. i'm like whoever said it above me...i wanted back on my skis after a few runs.
snowboarding, at least for me, turning wasn't that difficult to learn at all. some of the steeper, more technical stuff is a bit tricky though. I can definitely say that it's fun...esp in powder
------------------- 2 billion dollars...sir, I'd handle my grandpa's balls for 2 billion dollars.

When i grow up i wanna be a ski patroler and bitch at those crazy kids with skis that turn up in the back and who ski backwards.... its dangerous you know

*Welcome to the dub ski radio show*
no, all of my friend snowblade 2, skiing is gay, y do u need poles? snowblades r sick. - linesnowblades
I tried it too but couldn't get used to my feet being stuck in the same position after skiing for ten years. I thought it would be more like skating too but it wasn't. but after a half a day I was able to get down the mt without falling. It's cool but I don't feel like learning new shit and sucking at if and giving up on skiing.
your first time out on a snowboard is a lot trickier than your first time on skis because it's a lot easier to catch an edge and die. But once you start to figure it out, it's alot easier to get good (carving wise) on a snowboard then on skis.
NoPoles: 'Firefox is the big up and comming browser. It's better than IE in just about every way.' You heard it straight from the man kids, get Firefox.
i used my friends board because he kept trying backflips so i wanted to try it..... landed a backflip second try... then went and frontsided a backsided a rail... snowboarding is easy... skiing is life
Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.
