Found this video on a cheap snow making system (assuming you have an air compressor). What do you guys think?

brett_fisherBudy of mine has the sickest backyard park. Has like two snow guns a bunch of nice rails and pays a shit tone $ on water.
theabortionatorPics or it didn't happen. But seriously, post some pics. I wanna seeeeeeeeee
theabortionatorStopped when it said "Pvc pipes"
Could work, but could fail pretty hard. There were a couple websites and blogs people had about building their own snowmaking systems and rope tows, but I have no idea if they're still up and how to find them.
I still the most efficient thing is to build a solid backyard drop in and take off. Unless you don't pay for water, and have access to a ton of it.
One NSer a couple years ago was taking all the snowbanks from his area and bringing the snow back to the yard. That's not a bad option even if you just have a pick up. Might have a few pebbles in there but so does the trail opening weekend at most ski areas.
Idk, maybe it's not that bad. If you build it be sure to post back how it worked, what you built.
The internet wishes you great success.
tacolifeYou are gonna need one hell of an aircompressior or it is going to take a really long time to make any useful amount of snow. But the concept should work
danielski234There is another very similar design with metal that I think would work better. Usually my brother and I make a drop from our porch like 10 ft high. This year we are planning to do it off of our garage attic about 17ft+ high. We are always pulling snow from all over the yard and drive way. Figured it would be useful. Will post about it later.
