Alright guys. It's that time of year gain where I look at adding another set of skis to the quiver.
I ski in EUROPE, mostly Tignes, Val D'isere and Chamonix. I'm after a PLAYFUL, all mountain/freeride ski as my daily driver. I spend pretty much zero time in the park and prefer skis over 100mm. I'll be using these to ski mostly slackcountry and on piste terrain, throwing tricks all over the mountain and just generally dicking around. I don't tend to hit rails and prefer spinning off natural features and the odd kicker, also doing the occasional butter.
Something fun and lively is a must but I don't want them to get chucked around too much in the crud (I know it's a compromise either way) and be able to handle smaller cliff drops.
Currently I own Armada Norwalks mounted with Dynafit Beast 14 for deeper days so I'm looking for a ski to complement these that are also a little more playful.
I'm 5ft9, 150lbs, 22yrs old and ski fairly aggressively having grown up racing years ago.
So far I've considered the Black Crows Atris, Faction CT 3.0, K2 Marksman, Line Sir Francis Bacon, Armada ARV 106. Am I on the right line? Have you guys got any recommendations?
Since I live in Europe, getting hold of smaller american brands like J skis and ON3P is difficult, expensive and best avoided.
Thanks in advace
