Kartel 108 as a park ski??

Hey NS I was wondering if anyone has info on how Kartel 108 handle in the park just coming off some 84 waist libtechs and wanted more of a all mountain ski but also a park ripper since ill be residing in whistler this year I have saved up for custom 108 so they will be softer and more ready to be a park ski any info will help?

More than a few team guys are skiing Kartel 108 as one of their park skis. Some stock, some with a custom tweak to 19oz fiberglass. Meeks, LSM, Magnus, Anttu have pairs for sure. Maybe a few more (Doan?) but I am spacing who else. Too many skis...

I ride the 116 in the park and it handles just fine. The 108 is the perfect park ski in my opinion, and you can also go ski the rest of the mountain as well.

yeah have seen meeks and jonas been killing it on the 108 so I'm hyped on them, thanks for all the input everyone

Personally I have tried to get away from having a ski that I take in and out of the park. If you ski a lot if rails your edges get round and your edge grip fades and it's just not that practical to try to keep them sharp but not too sharp and after awhile they are just fubar anyway. I moved to having a beater pair for park and a set of all mountain sticks that I tune regularly. But as far as performance goes a jibby 108 waisted ski would be really fun all over in my opinion.

Scott, what is the reason to choose softer glass vs less carbon? I see there are options for both, why not choose both?

Also the K116 already has softer glass, is this because it has a thicker core?
