DieselChevysDefiantly Devils Head or Cascade and Tyrol, Tyrol is the closest to your town its about a 19 minute drive and to Devils Head about a 40 minute, and a 50 minute drive to Cascade. If you want the best resort go to Granite Peak in Wausau which is about a 2 hour drive, they all have pretty good parks too especially Granite.

RyhanGranite Peak is declining fast. The park gets worse every year and a day pass is now $100. The older, angry local skiers are all huge buzzkills as well. It's hey day was 2010-2014 and now the owner is turning things in the wrong direction.
DieselChevysOh man I haven't been there in forever I never knew any of that what else is going on there that isn't so good. But I do know lots of skiers who still go there

RyhanI could go on forever man lol. The food sucks and it's like $10 for a burger, randomly closed lifts on weekdays to "save money", very corrupt management. If they go through with their planned expansion in a couple years, I guarantee they will go bankrupt within 5-6 years.
Paul.MarikTyrol Basin is your best bet! They have a park with new features every few weeks. Cascade doesn't really have a park but skiing around is kinda fun. Devils head is also fun to cruise around, but their park doesn't have any large features in it. Granite Peak used to be the place to be, but with increased pass prices and lack of attention to the park the past few years doesn't make it worth the drive anymore. Trollhaugen competes well with Tyrol, but it's just far from where I'm at so I don't get up there as much.
tl;dr Go to Tyrone's Basement

KretzschmarTyrol Basin is closest and has a very solid park throughout the year.

Granite Peak is also very close (2ish hours north in Wausau on HWY 51) and has a good park as well.
As for the best, Trollhaugen is easily the best park in the midwest but it's about 3.5-4 hours away from you. I would highly suggest you make the trip there later in the year once they have their 2 parks completely finished. (Rail park is usually good to go around late december and the transition park is usually finished end of january/february.

JichelMustenFor sure. There is a group of about 15 skiers that are there a ton and we all know each other really well and take turns filming a lot. Even the snowboarders are chill!
