Revision Messed Up

So, back in September I was looking around for a new pair of skis for this season. After hours of searching, someone recommended revision skis. They look sick so I got them for a sick deal during the pre-sale. There was only one slight issue, the skis ship date was "mid November" although that was kinda annoying I knew I wouldn't be skiing at all between now and that time. Fast foward almost 3 months and I still havent heard from them, so I sent them an email regarding the shipping. They said that they would contact me in the next week for an Update. They sent another email a few days later saying they ran into some issues during production. "Due to some quality inconsistencies, we made the decision to rebuild a good portion of our skis". At that time I was like "ok, well I would rather wait 2-3 more weeks for solid skis then get low-quality skis now". They also said they would send another email in about a week for a new ETA. I got the email this morning and they said the new shipping date would be THE FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY. Thats almost have way into the ski season. I'm disappointed because the skis looked so fun but theres no way im waiting that long.


But thats not all, they also gave me (and all other customers) a $100 coupon to there website. Sure I appreciate them going out of there way to do that because they definitely feel bad abut this whole situation, but $100 is not gonna keep me waiting around for another month and a half. So, what do you guys think. Are any of you guys in the same Boat as Me?
Could this issue possibly be the end of revision?

G-Bolais anyone here still expecting their skis to come? i filed a claim a while back with my bank and got a temporary loan. just wondering if anyone on this thread is still waiting for skis


Not really expecting them, but same here, debit card purchase won't get refunded this late. Just kinda waiting for a miracle at this point...

you should definitely get refunded. You still haven't received the product so your bank should refund you. if your bank doesn't then you got a shitty bank and should switch. my bank got me my money back the same day i showed them the e-mails.

Not that wild, his address and phone number is all over public info websites. I called his ass up just to see if the number was legit and his wife answered, I asked for Bill and she got him. I asked where the hell everyone's skis were and he hung up.

Someone in the area needs to show up at his house, but no one really cares, right? I didn't buy any skis so I don't really have any skin in the game, just having done skip traces I was curious if I could find him (after finding his Denver associates house and having the thread post removed).

a_burgerjust got an email saying that a support ticket was created for my order, linked me to what appears to be a 3rd party site where they will handle my "issue"


Got the same thing. Seems like a bull shit waste of time that could've been spent giving me my money back months ago.

I like that it says they'll respond within 24hrs when they got my "ticket" 3 days ago after I sent them that message that's now a "ticket" in the google doc like 2 months ago.

Will be really surprised if they actually respond.

I got that too. Not sure I trust it since it's been months since I have gotten the email saying that my order has been complete and that my skis have arrived in the warehouse.

And again now 5 days without a response.

What the fuck is there to research? lol It's not a fucking term paper, it's do you have a record whether or not you mailed my skis I ordered to my address? They obviously have a record of all our credit cards which they charged and took our money over a half of a year ago so I don't see why it's so hard to keep track of who you did and didn't ship skis to.

Pretty sure they're just gonna forever keep sending us shit that says they're working on it so that they can avoid any lawsuits by saying they're working to fix the problems.

RIP to my $380

Also maybe they just blocked me, but pretty sure they deleted both their Instagram and Facebook accounts. Burn in hell Revision Skis.

Yeah. The should have hired some body for customer service /pr. Even if no skis were getting sent out right away just keeping people posted and answering questions as best they could. Even if something fucked up happened, ghosting everyone is the worst way they could have handled it.

Just left a nice comment on every single one of their pictures. Whether this it's real or not it really helped me blow off some steam over the fact that they still have my $380.

Looking back now idk why I even pre ordered from them again they just disintegrate under your feet the second they hit snow. Broke my first pair in like 4 days got the warranty and broke those in like 4 days. lol

Hate to be devils advocate, but if the company rebounds somehow next year and kids new to park are picking up skis - they kinda deserve to know instead of having to look thru 20+ pages of a thread to determine the company's quality.
