Planning a trip from Ireland to North America

I'm trying to plan a trip this winter over New Years for three or four weeks to the states or Canada. Pretty much looking for a mix of the best terrain and aprés, and people to ski with too as I'll be travelling solo. Any suggestions would be well appreciated cheers lads!

Apres is shite here, as there are no Greggs - if you are hungry for a cheeky mince pie, you'll be left hungry. Almost no knife crime at all in the average ski town, so that should be a refreshing part of the trip.

I usually ski France so I'm already used to the lack of gregs and knife crime. Looking for a change of scenery

When I moved from Bradford I moved to Winter Park Mary Jane - highly recommended if you looking for a great time. The coolest part for me, was the lack of garbage. Bradford is the worst.

That's a pretty big transition fair do's man, bradfords a proper shithole, no offence. I'll have a look at winter park though cheers

Winter parks a great mountain with a good vibe but the apres is lacking. if youre lookin for apres though i suggest breckenridge or aspen as far colorado goes.

Crested Butte then. Breck is WHACK AF.

Cheers lads I was looking at breck earlier but the pass seems to get a few other places as well would it be worth checking them out too? Was also looking at Jackson hole or snowbird/alta any advice on them?

Agreed I haven't been to breck in years. CB has some of the biggest inbounds terrain too!
