Eve Online Game

Does anyone on NS play this game? I just saw something about how players are at war, could be "the largest conflict in history"

I had never heard of the game before, but it seems like a incredible concept where the players have the entire universe and basically build, team up, etc. I guess there has been "peace" in the game for years and now some huge empire, "The Imperium" is at war with all these other small alliances.

Anyone play this game? Is it any fun, what's the point?

wow thats pretty cool actually. I used to play a lot of WoW and Arma 3 and i might actually look into getting this shit

Have never actually played eve, but many of my gaming friends tell me it is horrifically grindy. And we've played some really grindy games, so take from that what you will.

I've never played Eve and really don't know much about it (or online gaming in general), however this reminds me of this article a friend shared with me a while ago. People have done some ridiculous, awesome things and definitely good for a laugh.

I actually used to play this back in 2010. It's a big time commitment but it is really cool because everything in the game is player made, items, ships, wars, ect. Giant player alliances fight over space systems, which is probably what the war you are talking about is.

yeah it seems really cool but i feel like to get the most of the experience you need to sink a ton of time into it

I have heard it requires a huge commitment to play, because everything really happens in the large factions which have tons of requirements. Large scale space fights do happen, but its maybe 5% of the game..

But that is from what I have heard, I think there is a 21 day trial for it so may was give try it out.

idk if this is the same one but I checked out one of these games once and it seemed like you were just supposed to kind of stare at spreadsheet thing for hours and click buttons, didint seem very fun.

I made an account a few years back when it first came out but I haven't logged back on since. If I were you, I would stay as far away from that crap as possible. It can really become addicting.
