Technical gear?!!

Anyone have any ideas of what they want improved with technical gear, layers, anything in general?? What's the next step in the ski industry that is missing??

I have proforms to offer out for outerwear, accessories, and gear for anyone that can help out. 👌🏼

It would be super dope if Arcteryx could make a jacket thats steezy but proportional. I have an XL Gore-Tex proshell jacket thats semi-steezy but the width on it is crazy.

I wanna see a Gore-Pro membrane with a C-Knit backing. No one makes one yet, I love my Beta LT shell and I know the Pro membrane is the most breathable, and with a CKnut backing Id love to see if it'd improve. That and internal stuff sacks for shells.

I think the next big thing needed for technical apparel is an improvement of either waterproof membrane's breathability or in Durable Water Repellent finishes. The new Gore-Pro is definitely better than previous iterations, and the air permeable options from Mountain Hardwear and Event are nice, but all of them are still very hot during activity. So either a super breathable laminate or make a DWR good enough where you can wear a softshell in a downpour. I'm interested to try the new "laminate on the outside" offerings from Columbia and Arc'teryx to see if they help at all.

More pockets. More durable waterproof shells while still being reasonably breathable.

Steezy jackets with Dermizax or Polartec, especially for taller guys n girls. If you re over 6'2'' its impossible to find quiet steezy technical outerwear. XXL has the right length but fits like a yuuge potatoe bag.
Same with pants. Longer pants. My inner leg length is 91cm. Took me years to find proper fitting pants. Please moooooorrreeeee!!!!

Hydrophobic material on high use areas- where the dwr gets rubbed off quickest.

They make super hydrophobic paint to deter people from peeing on city walls and buildings, apply that to cloth. It just sucks when my 3L goretex shell gets wetted out after 10 days of use- still keeps me dry, but is heavy and cold. A more durable dwr would be nice.

Honestly idc about breathability. As long as it has vents to open, I'm good.

I'm still waiting on my Liberty skis pro-form. Though I already performed my entire family Xmas gifts hahaha! Friends don't let friends pay retail, ya dig!?

We need gore Tex outerwear that's not $500 dollars or more I mean come on its still made in China.
