Anybody on here spray graff? And i don't mean sharpie-ing expletives onto your schools bathroom wall.. Im getting more and more into it and would like to see if anybody else can give tips

Took a class about street art in general last semester and we ended up getting to spray a mural for the school as a class project.

I used to get bored and go make sick ass drawings on the bathroom walls of my school, but they were ruined after a week. People wrote cheif keef quotes all over them.

I've been into writing for about 5 years now. I live in an area that doesn't make it easy to write, but its just so intoxicating i have to do it. Solo piecing is some of the most peaceful and calming things somebody can do. I think the funniest part is that most people expect to be able to be good at it after a try or two, but the reality is you're probably gonna throw up a bunch of ugly garbage for a couple years.

Same with me, I live in a small town on the east coast and there is nowhere decent to spray.. Ive just been practicing under a small bridge that nobody knows about. Its wicked fun, but I'm always scared that somebody will hear shaking cans and call the cops

Granted, we did have help from these local graff artists called The Anthill Collective but we did do most of the spraying. They just went over the whole thing to make it perf.

Lose the spraying anxiety as fast as you can, just keep an eye out. It's very unlikely for somebody to call unless they're watching you hit a public spot or calling you out.
