There going to close the upper mountain down for much of the storm if its that big. So if your flying in come later in the storm cycle
"You put on your boots, click into your bindings, dust the snow off your skis, and head out for the chair, and it doesn't matter that you failed a test, didn't get the girl, or that your life is on a one way trip down the shitter, your world is right for the next couple of hours."
Ive never skied in California, but I am going to be somewhere there this weekend or next week.
I am thinking Monday at Squaw. Sunday will be crowded, it is unlikely that the lifts will be running too well, and the freezing level Saturday night is really high. On Tuesday it looks like the freezing level will shoot up again.
I was thinking about Mammoth as well, but it is supposed to be "destructively windy" there.
