are there any Americans who would actually consider leaving your country if he wins?
will anyone's life actually change or is everyone just complaining for no reason.
either way, sucks to suck. your field of candidates is pretty terrible.

CampeadorI digress, you're right. It's more difficult for them to rape each other when they're all men.
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-34773875
Just wonderful, salt of the Earth people you've got coming in. A riot after one Muslim killed another Muslim, surprise surprise.
By the way, if you make claims on demographic statistics, you should back those claims up.
S.J.WMy god you are an idiot. That article said the Iranian men protested the death of their fellow inmate. It did not say they started the riot. Did you also miss the part where the humans right director raised concerns over conditions at Manus Island? Yeah, fuck those people who just want to better their life. Let's throw them in conditions worse than any prison in Australia.
You also may wish to read some statistics about asylum seekers. Like how many of them are granted are citizenship. I know you'll probably cry thinking Australia is under some Islamic invasion.
http://www.asrc.org.au/resources/statistics/detention-and-refugee-statistics/
And you asked where I got my 20% number from.
http://johnmenadue.com/blog/?p=353
Now I know you're going to point out that 42% number, but keep in mind we're talking about boat people here that come from places like Indonesia, and countries around that region. And not the mass migrant crisis we are currently seeing that skew those numbers.
But did you miss the part where a guard can rape an inmate and get away with it? Oh no, let's not care about that because he's white. Or if a guard reports how horrible the conditions are he can be jailed. Yeah let's not care about that. You are such an insufferable human being. Go live in a camp for a over a year and see how you react. And just one last nail in the coffin, no refugees are not committing crime like some fuckwits like yourself like to claim.
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-05-26/davidsonrefugee/2732220
CampeadorSo your only source is a blog with meaningless, outdated statistics from 4-6 years ago, long before the current surge in "refugee" migration. You even got your own statistics wrong. Furthermore, what the hell is a muslim Iranian doing on Christmas Island? They are opportunist migrants, Iran should be their Islamic paradise.
I know you've got a soft spot in your heart for the followers of the prophet, how else can you justify the crimes committed by the migrant trash in these detention centers?
Viktor Orban is right, these people are a horde of evil, being encouraged along by open-borders Marxists types like yourself.
S.J.Whahahhahah, fuck you're a funny cunt. Please continue, you are killing this persona.
Logey. Is it really that bad? 0 taxes for anyone that makes under $20,000 dollars? And virtually everyone else pays a flat 25%? Also he would fix this ridiculous corporate tax that america seems to somehow justify. I always lawl when Bernie says that he is going to force corporate america to pay the 35% tax rate, its about as feasible as trump building a 50 foot tall 1000 mile wall at the border. We need a president that will bring money back into this country. Whether that is a republican fixing our trade deficits and bringing back businesses, or a president that will fix our deteriorating higher education system, something has to happen. Also, fuck Hilary.
S.J.Whahahhahah, fuck you're a funny cunt. Please continue, you are killing this persona.
Huck_NorrisIn a nutshell, YES. Trump's plan is immeasurably worse. Not only does he propose a tax cut that would be into the trillions over the length of his term, he also says he's going to balance the budget by "trimming the fat" in the Governmental programs. Now, given that he could cut literally every single peripheral Govt. function and still not balance that out (EPA, Dept. of Education, Soc Sec.,Treasury, National Parks, etc. etc. etc.) but he also says he's going to strengthen our military (more money) and build a 2000 mile wall for $10M??? If his plan goes through, the country won't be able to do a fucking thing.
It doesn't take a genius to see that he has no idea how this will add up, and even the most basic computation will tell you it's trillions out of whack and reckless as fuck. It's like saying you don't like how Obama drives so you're going to grab the wheel and steer us square into a bridge abutment because "That'll fix that!
I'd add that at the very least, Bernie did a pretty succinct breakdown of how he would pay for his plans and why they're important, and although there is certainly room for debate as to "how well they'd work" or "what variables will change the outcome irl" but at least it makes sense on paper. Trump's "plan" - if you could even call it that - is so far outside basic math and reality it's a flat out drunken cocktail-napkin concoction by someone who is just stringing buzzwords together to try to sound good to other people who have no fucking clue how shit actually works. The guy has no fucking idea what he's even attempting to do and for someone who's supposedly "A good businessman" (lol) he should at least have a vague idea of how to balance what Rush's fucktard army think they want and what can actually be accomplished without breaking the laws of mathematics. Doing all the things he says he wants to do is literally impossible- and not because people won't let him, it's math itself this time that says "No... Just no, Donnie."

Peter.resorting to name calling, classic "I lost the argument" strategy
S.J.WIf you know campeador then you know that it's literally impossible to have a discussion with him. So I quote him every once in a while to have a laugh. I don't take anything he says seriously
CampeadorI'm glad the feeling is mutual, you're the most insufferable person on this site.
What could be more irritating than some 14k-a-year, social justice loser from Australia who is so bereft of activities that he has an odd fascination with US politics.
Maybe you should get a 2nd job with all the idle time you spend on here and the HuffPost website.
Logey.Yes, your argument about the federal government losing money from income taxes is undeniably true, but you forget the fact that the money saved from income taxes will inevitably be spent in the free market, which will increase the amount of sales tax dollars states will receive from consumers. How much they will gain likely can't be accurately predicted, but i'm willing to guess that it is substantial. Also, with states receiving the tax dollars rather than the federal government, it will allow the states to come up with different plans to solve the various problems that are specific to their state.
And lol at your generalization of all trump supporters. I could make the same ridiculous claims about the berntards, but would rather have an honest argument about policies without bashing the other sides supporters. You can go ahead and think that you know everything about how the government will function in the future based on the hypothetical policies given by each candidate. Go ahead. My guess is that congress wont let any policies given by either side make it through, and if they somehow do i'm sure the judicial branch will have an opposing opinion.

CampeadorIt's also disingenuous to say that a man who has built various multi-billion dollar businesses would be unaware of the fundamentals of business and accounting....
... One could also say that Bernie's millenial "free-stuff" supporters are equally ignorant of economics and blue-collar working class men and women at Trump rallies. The difference is the blue-collar folks actually work and pay income tax.
Huck_NorrisThese two paragraphs alone tells anybody watching just how fucking out there you really are.
Stop referring to Trump's money as a product of his doing. Instead of saying "how much money he has", it would be more accurate to refer to it as "how much he has left". He has shuttered more businesses than he's made successful, and literally would be more than twice as wealthy if he had just retired when he received his inheritance. Guys like Cuban started with nothing- There's a huge fucking difference and don't put them on the same level. They aren't. So to answer your question, yes you WOULD think after tanking a baker's dozen he would stop making shitty companies but Trump is a real Pro when it comes to going belly up. Why stop when you're so good at something? Lol... Maybe he's the Chapter 11 Van Gogh or something!
And the second one, holy fuck... I can't even imagine the planet you'd have to live on, and the seclusion of the rock you love under on said planet to think Bernie has no appeal to blue collar workers. Do you not know he is endorsed by almost every single major worker's advocacy group and labor union in the country? Lol. Just... Lol.
In closing and to answer your original question, I'd be all for nailing down the corporate tax rate but I find it hilarious that you just fucking shot the hole in your own argument with your very next breath- you say these big companies effectively pay 0% and that they need to pay more... But then you say they're paying too much and we're losing businesses abroad because the current rate is too high. Which the fuck is it, seriously?
Actually nevermind. This is my fault for even posting, I should have never even said anything. You'll apply whatever logic you feel like and ignore whatever doesn't support that opinion and will definitely just think I'm a dick. Soooooooo yeah, enjoy believing no Bernie voter has a job, Trump University is a prestigious educational establishment and companies are just playing global tax musical chairs waiting for 'Ol Donnie to stop the music you fucking mouth breathing dogfucker haha PEACE
S.J.WYou live in fucking chile cunt. So you accusing me of having some fascination with US politics also applies to you. But then again your rich mummy and daddy probably paid for all your trips around the world because they can't stand what a pathetic cumstain of a son they have.
And I study full time and work four days a week and that still allows me to have time to just laugh at pathetic cunts like you.
It's so funny, you post on this site just as much, if not more than I do. Probably still unemployed and living off benefits but you're so insecure you don't want anyone to know. Seriously, do you even post on the ski gabber side of NS? Or are you just a pathetic shitposter that got kicked out of 4chan? But please continue posting, I love laughing at you
Campeador.
Get used to saying President Trump.
S.J.WTrump isn't going to be president. He has no support from the republican party apart from that fatfuck from NJ and that pornstar look alike.
And with Trump doing so well in the primaries, around 65% of tea party supporters participate in primaries and caucuses. Compared to just 40% of regular republicans. So Trump and Cruz have a natural numerical advantage that skews just how much republican voters like them.
Also don't forget in the latest national poll, both Clinton and Sanders beat Trump. Get use to saying President Clinton 2.0. I know how much you'll fucking hate your life for the next 8 years. And it's going to be glorious to watch you republicunts lose your shit and complain. It's going to be so entertaining. Hopefully you'll stay in that shithole socialist country of Chile and continue to live on unemplyoment benefits.
CampeadorPoor you, you're just grasping at whatever straws you think you're reaching for. I've never shared with you where I reside, nor do I plan to (I'll let you keep trying to guess). I'll tell you this though, I am a US citizen, and you are not.
Unfortunately, sociology, poli sci, and ethnic studies degrees aren't worth anything to employers, so get used to that 14k-a-year job (if you even manage to hold on to that).
CampeadorKeep on dreaming you communist loser.
S.J.WOkay how about a little bet??? If Trump wins I'll leave NS forever. If Hillary wins you leave NS forever???
CampeadorThat doesn't sound too bad, but I don't believe you'd follow through. At best you'd reemerge like some kind of cockroach under a new username.
But to be perfectly honest, no, I won't take that bet. This site would be so boring without folks like you. You're a part of NS whether I like you or not.
S.J.WPot calling the kettle back? You love your strawman fallacies.
CampeadorLook, if you want to play the strawman game, I'm happy to play along as well. It's not my preferred modus operandi, but whatever.
It is rather ironic though that someone as neck-deep in Marxian philosophy as yourself would be majoring in business, it's an interesting combination, maybe you're more of a capitalist than you let on.
S.J.WNope, just get one of the mods to do an IP ban meaning I can't create a new account unless I move. Which I'm not. Put your money where your mouth is, looks like you're not confident enough to back Trump. Pussy.
CampeadorThose IP bans are easy to get around.
Like I said, even if I won, I wouldn't want you leave, it's kind of a lose-lose deal for me.
I'm old, I don't care as much about being on NS as you think, it was fun for me ten years ago. Honestly, its mostly a bit of online boredom when I'm working on projects for work that leads me back here. Without folks like you it wouldn't be worth it, I mean that sincerely despite all my insults.
How can I test what I believe without an impassioned true-believer like you on the other side arguing the opposite point? Everyone is so sensitive nowadays, it's good to have debates likes these (even with a few insults thrown in) about current events and politics.
S.J.WLet's get one thing straight. A socialist democrat believes in a capitalist society, however they also believe that the government can do a better job at some things than the free market. For example, I believe in a single payer health care system and legislation like the glass stegal act. But other than common sense legislation I believe the government should stay out of the free market, that includes protection. Looking at you Mr Trump thinking tarrifs are a good idea.
CampeadorOk, I follow you here and am with you on Glass-Steagall.
However, how do you feel about tariffs that correct for blatant currency manipulation? Also, China puts high tariffs on US goods, why is it wrong to return in kind?
Working class people in the US are getting decimated thanks to these horrible trade conditions.
If not a tariff, what solution do you propose?
S.J.WOkay how about a little bet??? If Trump wins I'll leave NS forever. If Hillary wins you leave NS forever???
S.J.WProtection is only going to result in higher prices for the American consumer. For the economically challenged it's a great idea. For everyone who passed year 9 economics, not so much.
First world manufacturing jobs are pathetic. There is no reason any government should continue to protect that dying industry. If a company can't survive in the country it wishes to operate within it should not exist.
The problem is H1B visas. That's taking away skilled workers from hard working Americans, for the sake of cheap labor. They should not exist. If you want to work in America, then you should either have an immigrant visa or be a citizen. Not this H1B bullshit. When I got my work visa for Canada, I was still paid the exact same amount as a canadian citizen would be paid.
But let's get one thing straight, there are currently 300,000 skilled jobs that need filling that can't be filled because of a lack of skilled workers. So is the issue a lack of jobs or a lack of skilled workers?
CampeadorSure, I agree 100% on H1B visas.
However, you didn't answer my question about implementing certain trade controls, like tariffs, when one country is blatantly tipping the scales of trade heavily in its favor using laws and monetary manipulation.
Why should the U.S. allow China to continue to place 25% tariffs on U.S. goods, while we have essentially none? And why should the U.S. not react using trade controls when China is blatantly manipulating the yuan to make it impossible for U.S. companies to compete?
I don't agree with protectionism, but how do you propose the U.S. combat what China is doing if tariffs (or the threat of tariffs) are not an option?
Phil-X-This election is going to come down to Trump vs Hillary. If you think that Hillary will run the country better then Trump (considering her track record) then good riddance. Im not saying Trump is going to make a great president, but hes the lesser of two evils.
This happens literally every fucking election cycle "hurr durr if Obama wins im leaving the country!" "If Romney wins Im going to Canada!" "Theres no way Bush will be reelected, if he is, Im on the first flight out!"
If you honestly think that a president can singlehandedly fuck the country up badly enough to justify moving away, you shouldnt even be voting. The best part is, almost all the people that say that shit dont have enough money saved up to buy an international flight and obtain new citizenship.
Stop circle jerking. I was never a fan of Trump, but the last couple months of berniebots posting on facebook and other social media sites have caused me to think differently about him just because liberal tears are so damn sweet.
7springsprodI can't wait for this election to be over and regardless of whoever gets elected nothing changes in the next decade
KravtZThat being said KASICH was easily the best one at the debate by a long shot. Its a shame he doesn't get much media coverage. I think he would be very very suited to run for president.
KravtZI have been a Trump supporter most of this election process and still support him.
VinnieFare there any Americans who would actually consider leaving your country if he wins?
will anyone's life actually change or is everyone just complaining for no reason.
either way, sucks to suck. your field of candidates is pretty terrible.
S.J.WChina can do what they want. I really don't care about them. If they want to make products expensive for their general population they can. That's not my problem. And if companies want to export to China, then they have to pay the tariffs. There is no real way to compete with China without making product more expensive for yourself. And considering the US has the largest trade deficit out of any developed nation at 42 billion tariffs are a terrible idea.
One idea is providing subsidies for companies to innovate to create new technology for cheaper labour. That's what the Australian government is currently doing, they are providing monetary assistance for innovation in products. Is it working? Well, no one knows they only started doing it.
CampeadorMaybe I'm an idealist, but I buy "Made in the USA" whenever possible (except cars, I like Toyota trucks), even if it costs more because I know that the quality 19 times out of 20 will be better. One of the things that made America great was our ability to make awesome products by a skilled workforce that were afforded decent working-class jobs.
onenerdykidToyota actually has a good deal of their cars & trucks made in the USA. There is a facility in Texas that produces and assembles Tundras and Tacomas.
