Difference between switch cork and switch rodeo?

been watching a lot of videos lately and i have had a pretty hard time differentiating the two tricks, with some grabs its obvious to spot a switch cork 5 but when people do switch cork 5 japan or safety i find them to be almost identical to switch rodeos is there any major difference when doing these tricks? I see some that look like switch 1 to cork 3 pretty much and switch rodeo seems like in between the axis of a switch cork and switch underflip but idk if im right at all. to show you what im talking about heres two videos.

The main difference is that switch rodeos look a bit more "flippy" but they do look extremely similar. I don't know of a better way to explain it haha.

Switch Cork: Go switch, and do a bio

2nd clip is barely a switch rodeo, the grab makes it seem more inverted than it really is. The difference is minimal, but rodeos are inverted and more flippy than corks. When throwing corks your head is never below your feet, but some grabs make it hard to tell.

Both are wrong, the tricks are set the same way switch or forward.

i feel like switch cork is ride switch do a bio only works for like sw cork 7 and up i feel like switch cork five is more sw 1 late cork 3

Its virtually the same thing. The rodeo is much more focused on the flip and the cork will be more about the spin. I would compare it to the rodeo 5 and the flat 5. Same trick, more or less flip is involved.

In theory it's like people have been saying: a cork is less inverted than a rodeo. Nowadays though, barely anyone seems to make any distinction and just go ahead and call everything either rodeos or corks, depending on personal preference. So if someone says that they're doing switch corks there's a good chance that they're actually doing rodeos, but it doesn't really matter to anyone...

To further confuse matters, the terms often come up when discussing doubles, where it's not unusual for one of the off-axis rotations to be a cork and the second one a rodeo. Nobody's going to say "switch cork 7 to switch rodeo 5", we just go with "switch dub cork 12"...

Personally I just go with "cork" most of the time and only use the term "rodeo" if they really flipped the shit outta that trick.
