2014 K2 press 169cm for $140... or 2016 K2 press 179cm for 299$
Height: 180cm (5'11")
Weight: 59kg (130lbs)
Foot: 27.5cm x 9.7cm (wearing my thinnest ski socks)
Experience level: noob
just messed around with my buddies old gear last weekend at the terrain park had a blast cruising off some small jumps and sliding boxes. I want to get my own skis without investing to much coin. I plan on getting the Marker Squire's bindings, but still uncertain about which length skis. Also any advice on which boots (flex, brands, etc) I should look into (obviously need to try some on before deciding) for a rookie would be appreciated. Peace.
Well even if you are a noob don't get squires. I may be overacting but getting griffons for $30 is so worth it its crazy. Unless you can find squires for like $50 id just get a 13 din binding even for you because they don't break as easy. I went through 5-6 brakes my first year of park weighing 100 lbs and had the correct din and everything. Id also go 169cm for a noob
Get a tech to set the din for you. If you don't know what to set the din to or how to do it, you're asking for trouble.
I'd probably get them mounted a little back from centre (1 or 2 cm) as they're not symmetrical, but that's your choice.
Boots, see a boot fitter. We can give you as much advice as you want on which full tilt boots will be right for you, but it will probably all be wrong. It'll cost more, but at least your boots will fit properly.
