Hey nsg. I've been working on some tunes for a little while now and finally decided to post some. Everything was done by me on cracked pro tools so it's a little under produced but it's just a hobby for me so I haven't put any money into it. It's free to download. if you like it give it a share or some shit.
It's instrumental metal influenced by stuff like BTBAM, intervals, periphery

clicked on this thread expecting to hate on whatever this was, ended up listening to the whole demo and loved it. INHLT was radical.

for the style of music it is, its not very heavy. maybe "thicken" up the guitars a little bit, and take the edge off them. Cut the 1 to 3k freqs a little, then the 5 to 8k freqs. and boost the 125 to 300 a little bit.

also, it doesnt sound like there's a bass guitar line on some of the tracks? maybe if you had that added in, it would take the edgyness of it off.

other than that, it was enjoyable! i'm just an audiophile and all i do is audio engineer shit, so its my two cents. lol.

thanks for the feedback man. when I EQ I'm really just screwing with the knobs till I think it sounds alright haha. all the songs also have a slightly different mix, I wasn't real thorough with the mixing. and 2 of them were put through amps and the rest are all digital.

and all of them have bass besides domain (just 1 guitar track). I probably just did a lazy job with the playing or something. I have a cheap 5string that I got at bestbuy just for recording
