Magic J or Lightweight Backcountry Ski?
So I just got the Dynafit radical ft bindings and I'm stoked I am one step closer to earning some backcountry turns. But I need to find skis to mount them on, do I put them on my Armada magic js, which already have bindings, or should I get a more lightweight ski to take touring?
I don't know if I want to re-drill my skis, but I know I would get good use floating in backcountry pow.
Also the bindings were around $500 so I would like to keep a couple paychecks instead of buying new skis, but if its not worth to remount my skis, I would like to know your opinions.
Thanks for any advice.
