BLEND or SLAT??

I have skied both and it kind of depends on what you prefer. The blends are soft, but the slats I feel are a softer and a bit more playful. The blends are a little wider as well as they can turn a bit quicker. I'd personally go with the slats because I like a really playful ski. Hope this helps.

Blends: Softer, lighter, but slightly less durable, more maneuverable (not a huge deal, just slightly)
Slats: Heavier, a tad bit stiffer, slightly more durable, wider turn radius.

Both seem super fun and you can't go wrong with either! Maybe check out the Da'nollie if you're into indy skis.

Far from it, I rode a pair of storms for a season and didn't get a single tear out or edge crack

Rossi skis have paper thin edges I have seen so many pairs get pullouts like nothing its a real shame because the skis are some seriously awesomme sticks. WWAYY more high quality than blends imo. I have not skied slats yet, but when I skied blends I was dissapointed by how they had no pop and were not really fun to ski. they were fun as fuck to smear and butter however. Rossi I know will make a ski that can ski well and from what I can tell, the skis can do just about everything the blends can.

I'm thinking about the same two skis also. I keep on seeing the slats for slightly cheaper too and after most of these reviews I'm leaning toward the slats. I just need to do some more looking into the edges on the slats, because fucked up edges is the worst.
