skidemon22Having skied exclusively on volkls for the past two seasons, I'll say this:
I would personally mount the One (for what your trying to do) at the furthest forward factory printed line and call it a day.
My Volkl kinks from two years ago, I (being a shop tech) mounted twice due to breaking a binding. The first mount was at the +5 line. The second mount I decided to go with the +6 line, but couldn't because the now plugged holes were in the way. So I went + 7, and had no issues for the rest of the season. My Volkl steps from last season I mounted at the +6 line and have no complaints at all. My gotamas I mount only +1 or +2 from traditional, but that's one cause I was mounting them with dukes and they are my east coast powder ski. I hope this helps
Matt-ChittyCheers fella - Based on that, I'm still leaning towards going forward to +7, but I'm pretty skeptical. 5cm back from true center just seems too far back. :(((((( Maybe that's just me being really picky though as I don't want to have to remount again.
