Well, skiis and bikes has done it again.
About a month ago I opened a thread about how my skis we're mounted at the boot centre instead of the true centre of my ski (or at least the +5cm freestyle recommendation Volkl makes). I went back to the shop and they gladly obliged to redrill the skis for free.
However, when the techs asked where I wanted them remounted, and I said "+5cm" they made me unsure when they said that it may not be true Centre *which may be ahead of that point anyway. They said they noticed it was usually around the +3cm mark and that they would measure to be sure, so I told them to mount it where they measured true centre.
Unfortunately, I do not think they measured, I think they just drilled athe the God damn 3cm mark. Thanks to these techs who didn't talk much, my skis are not centre mount, but about an inch away from it, and they are drilled twice.
So now I'm faced with a problem. I have to begin to teach freestyle in about a week, and I don't really want to redrill my skis again. I also don't trust the guys at skis and bikes but if I go elsewhere I may be charged.
So what the f*ck do I do now?
