Hi Newschoolers, so i'm headed up to Revelstoke, BC to shoot for a snowmobile team and have thought it would be a good opportunity to bring along some skis with my buddies since... ya know...its BC. All i have available for my ski quiver is the Line Blend 2015 and the 2014 k2 shreditor 102, and I'm not sure what ski to take up there. Since It'll mostly be back-country I'm leaning towards the Shreditors but i've heard that Rob Huele has also taken his Blends to Japan....sooooo any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Both are pretty buttery. But I don't think flex has a huge deal when it comes to pow, unless your charging. Stiffer flexes can be nice, but softer flexes can allow the ski to flex slightly against the snow for more float.
the blend is extremely soft and buttery.. if you want a true all mountain mid fat for revelstoke, id recommend bringing your shreditor. realistically these is a 2mm difference in waist width so it doesnt matter the dimensions of either ski. you'll be more stable on the shreditor.
