How come there are not any pros from south america

How come there are not any pros from south america (at least that I know of) I know they have a pretty big ski industry in Argentina and Chile and they get a ton of snow but I have never seen a park edit that was in south america and when I see the backcountry edits they are always pros from north america/ Europe.
