Skiing high?

I don't partake in marijuana for a few (health related) reasons, but I've always been curious: what's it like to ski high? I get different opinions from different people usually, so post your "skiing high" stories ns!!

I pretty much always piff when I ride and it doesn't really make much of a difference anymore. It just kinda amplifies all of the sensations that skiing gives you. Though I will say that pushing it in the park becomes difficult if I'm reeeally stoned. Which is also why myself and so many others smoke spliffs on the hill. Nicotine kinda balances out the buzz and gives you some energy, definitely more functional.
Also, safety meetings with the crew are the shit. Gives you a chance to slow down, crack a couple brews and joke with friends in the woods away from all the hustle and bustle of the hill.

most of the time i just end up sitting on the deck in the park. or if i do actually end up skiing, i won't try anything technical. just mach 5 into rails and shitty presses.

I kinda just get super excited and I ski really fast and bomb groomers and side hits and chase my friends and pretend I'm an airplane, I yell a lot when I find pow and get really talkative on the lift and say shit about how awesome the snow is even if it's an icy day. If it's a really great day and I'm a bit too high I tend to get overexcited like a little puppy and all of the sudden I will be going like 60 down a cut up groomer and suddenly shut it down immediately and stop as fast as I can and then ski really cautious until I get to the bottom, then I nap on the lift to get a level head. I kinda tend to save bud/brews for mellow groomer spring days, skiing steep sketchy shit can get especially scary under the influence for me at least

Its a good fuckin time, I use to say stuff like "isnt skiing alone awesome enough?" but the few times Ive done it skiing I had a blast. I wont do it when Im trying to toss bigger tricks but when its a pow day, cloudy and shitty day or a sunny warm day where were just having fun Ill do it. If you try it while skiing, I highly suggest a pow day, you wont be freezing and sending off knowles into powdery goodness is amazing.

I identify with the last part so much. I (usually) will suck at doing bigger spins off of rails but I (most of the time) hit features super fast and tap the ends of rails and whatnot and what have you. And I feel more stylish, but I don't really have cool steeze to begin with I don't think.

But maybe I'm just stoned enough to think that.

The first time I did it was one over my first couple times so I got stoned as fuck and there was this sketchy 8 foot up-box thing at a 45 degree angle that was supposed to be some snowboarder stall thing on the side of the trail. I saw this from the lift and there was a water pipe for snowmaking 10-15 feet away that goes along side the chairlift on the ground. I decide that I have to send it over the pipe and everyone says that it's way too far and and the gap is too big. Of course I still go for it and I had to turn in for it and I wasn't coming at the right angle so I tried to turn right before I got on the box which didn't work out well so the first time I landed straight on my side but there was like a foot of powder because the trail is closed below the chairlift .Everyone was going crazy and I had to do it again. I hike up and send it again and boosted straight over it and landed in a sick pow landing. By far it was the sketchiest thing I've done on skis and I'm still bummed to this day that I didn't get the footy

I would say it lowers my jump skills but ups my rail game. Also, I feel like it changes my skiing. When riding buzzed I'll start pulling out random tricks that I've never done before and send them. Usually not technical tricks but big one footers or shit like that.

sorry for double post but i literally cant to anything high, i tried skating and always just hit cracks and fell really hard, laughed it off, got back on the board and fell again and again

yeah this is me. i kind of just don't wanna ski, i'd rather sit in the lodge. or my skiing is super cautious and lame. maybe fun for some but it's not for me. i reserve it for the apres

i usually get indica anyways so generally i'm not super active when i'm stoned

This is so accurate. Sometimes I ski really fast, or really slow, and I don't realize it. Then when I finally figure out that I was going mach 6 on a green, I ski really cautiously for the next ten minutes.

It's been around for a longgggg time. Also generally refers to being high from cocaine. I guess until all these pussy/shitty rappers started using it to be like "I smoked a bowl, im so zooted broooo"

Same with faded. Generally refers to opiates or similar like benzos etc. But "omG omG liek we smoked a bowl and are getting hella faded! The trees are talking to me and I see leprechauns dancing,"

I mean you can say what ever you want but it doesn't make it anymore cool or underground, and all these bitch ass "rappers" are bitch ass "rappers".

I've only skied high once and it was with my older brother who goes to CU at Keystone. We smoked some purple kush by easy street and I was suuuper blazed. The jibs were looking really weird but I was feeling so mellow and got my first 270 off that day. Hope to ski high again soon but I can't get weed at my high school cus I don't know any dealers

Now what's going to happen in the terrain park? Nothing. You have a better shot out there dying in the real world. Dodging gapers on the groomers, planning a ski date with your girl. I find it too hard. I can ski drunk just fine. But weed really makes me tired and make my muscles get exhausted quickly. I feel like i can't turn as aggressively or handle the chop the way i should be able too. And like in the park i don't try any hard tricks haha. Most people love it though! Try it for sure :)

Skateboarding high is so hard! It is way harder than skiing or snowboarding high. Skiing is like made to be done high cause it is smooth

Can't speak for myself because the few times I've tried it I've ended up in a adirondack chair for what seemed to be an hour staring at the mountains, but was actually four. BUT...

I know a few dudes that totally know how to tame the beast and they are unbelievable stoned skiers. Not pro, but definitely a next level. Taming the beast is essential. If the beast controls you then things get a little bit squirrelly.

if you are of age, and in a legal state, it may be beneficial to utilize the plant as you know what you are getting from the dispensary. a sativa will most definitely cause an increase in energy, mood, perception, and even stamina... whereas any indica will produce effects like lethargy (tired) and should be saved for apres hot tubbing.
