Help with skis (noobie)
I've been interested in learning park for the past two years, but haven't been able to find the right ski for me. At a ski expo this weekend I was interested in a pair of 2016 Line Chronics but the people weren't too good on selling it to me.
I ski east coast, mostly southern Vermont, Massachusetts and some small New York mountains, I'm 5'10, 17 & about 140 pounds but like smaller skis so I can have more control on crummy New York conditions. I've been skiing for a while but only low expert/high intermediate ski levels with about no ability in the park. 800$ is my max, but would like to stay as far away from that as possible. I'm really interested in the Line Future Spins but the lowest size is 170 and not sure if that is small enough for me. (I really have no idea about ski size cause the ski charts confuse me, lol).
Thanks for all the help in advance.
Ski size differs from person to person. I like my skis to be my height or an inch taller. Also, larger skis would give you more control, not smaller.
Are you looking for more of an all mountain ski or a park ski that you could take everywhere else?

Imo don't go any shorter than 170cm. Im 169cm tall (5'7) and I'm skiing 168 and 170cm skis this season, but thats because i wanted them long. I wold go anywhere from 170cm-175cm for you as a beginner. As you get more comfortable skiing you will be able to handle longer skis.
