Atomic Punx?

I just bought the Atomic Punx 2015/16 Edition. I wanted a lightweight park ski and I

am confident the Punx is one but is there someone who has it and could share some

insight on it; pros and cons aswell as a note would be really helpful. Thanks.

13/14 punx were different than the 10/11 set I had. The newer ones were a little less noodly, but were very poppy and springy. The bigger edge on the new pair made them much more durable. If you ski them hard they aren't going to make it two whole seasons though. I think the core material is more likely to rot than skis with denser core woods.

I have the 2012 model and they are a bit too noodly for me. afaik the newer models are a bit stiffer. overall atomic skis are good quality and super durable. Riding mine for my third season and they're still in great condition despite the beating they get.

Yeah I'm not the best freeskier, I can hit rails 270 off, sometimes 270 on 360,720, shooting for the back this season. So I'm not sure that durability is really on of my issues. More lightweight than anything else really.

That ski is a great ski. Period. Enjoy it.
