Spinning on to rails help pls.

Spinning onto rails. Idk what i'm doing wrong. I can 450 out, but something about landing on steel sideways after spinning psychs me out. Been trying on pvc, and landed 2's on a few times, but its rare and not steezy.

how i spin on?????

BUT I CAN lol. I spent all summer working on unnatty on, urban unnatty on, and i even have natty to unnatty switch up down most of the time I go for it.

I think I'm just psyching myself out spinning then landing unnatty. I don't feel like I'm going to land it when I try it, but I also don't feel like im getting better or closer to being consistent at it.

Maybe I should just spin hard for the 4 on so I can do everything naturally lol.

If you have to spin unatty to land natty, try spinning natty to land unatty its way easier

I'm the same way as you OP. Spinning left and landing right is easier than you think.

Didn't phrase that properly. Normally I slide right foot, and spin left. But left 2s on, landing left foot are much easier than alot of people think.

when you go for 2 on spot the top of the rail/lip when you land this will help you from over rotating..

pop up and get your chest turning asap. lock your eyes on the top of the rail and shift the last 90 degrees

If you are really scared of doing a two on to rail you can do this. If spining left you can 180 over the rail and land switch to the left of the rail. Then you can start spinning to 270 while bringing your tips up and over the rail. At this point you should basically be doing a 360 over the rail. Now you can start centering yourself on the rail. Make sure your head goes around first and you look at the end of the rail as soon as possible. OR YOU CAN STOP BEING A PUSSY

but that rail is metal and im bone and skin.

And i fractured my elbow and some other bones in a non-skiing accident last year, so i think i'm more timid with rails than I used to be.

Practice on pvc if you are scared of the metal, its a little less intimidating for sure.
