Sony A7SII: The even better low light god

10bit through hdmi tho, not in camera. Still definitely a big upgrade though. If only they could fix the battery life, it'd probably be the perfect camera for me

its not the battery life, its the size of the battery.

:( only flaw I can find

This is going to be the best camera out there for so many people.

I am honestly feeling a little jaded because I got my a7s a few months back and want it to be my one and only forever.

"Waaaay on the other side of the resolution divide is the Canon ME30F-SH, a boxy two-megapixel video camera that shoots 1080p video with its full-frame sensor. None of that is impressive, but this is: The camera has a maximum ISO of 4,000,000. At the show, Canon had a setup where the camera was pointed at a colorful scene with no available light. The ME30F-SH was still able to capture perfectly visible footage with incredible color accuracy. It's not a prototype, either: The ME30F-SH will be available in December for a mere $30,000."

^ considering the price tag I think the sony cameras will be more popular (atlas for non-major productions)

I was joking, but what isn't a joke is that the last photo expo in 2010 focused heavily on 4k and now many of todays cameras including this A7Sii are implementing quality 4k recording at consumer level prices. So when I mentioned 2020 I'm hoping when that expo rolls around the performance of the me30f-sh also trickles down to consumer level

thing is, 4k's still in it's transitional phase at the moment, there's no doubt that within a couple of years (possibly even 1 or 2) that 60p at 4k will be the standard in many cameras as 1080 at 60p is today, not too sure about those low light capabilties though
