Does it snow in australia?

Hey guys,

New to the sport and the website.
I'm just wondering if it actually does snow in Australia considering it is a desert and all. I'm assuming that it doesn't considering the average temperature is around 32 degrees Celsius according to http://www.bom.com. I've goggled Australia and it comes up with a lot of photos of beaches, deserts and beer and due to this I'm assuming that it doesn't snow in the country.

Could you please confirm this as I'm sure you are all very well educated on skiing and snow.

in the mountains it snows there is a few resorts the biggest being perisher (winter is there now due to the southern hemisphere if you didn't know

It doesn't snow but we have overcum (pun intended) the problem, we gather Kangaroo, Wombat and Koala semen and spread it all over our highest peaks to keep it cool, it skis just like real snow.

some areas in Colorado and Nevada for example are considered deserts and it snows in those states.

Yea, look up Perisher Parks... they are open all year long. It looks like it's good snow too.
