Thoughts on Rocker2 108
Found a pair of Rocker2 108s for a good price. Whats everyones thoughts on them.
Im 5'7" and the skis i found are 182
I really like the rocker series. I rode the 122 for three seasons and I still really like the feel. The 108 is muc lighter then most skis it compares to but bein reasonably stiff underfoot keeps them stable. The large symmetrical rocker makes them super easy to pivot and they ride switch really well. If you are an absolute charger you may want something a bit more stable and stiff but if you like to jib around they are awesome.
i skied few days on rocker2 108 last winter, one of the most fun skis out there imo. i really liked how they performed in surfy-style skiing in the park, so buttery and presses were easy to get on lock. i actually liked them more in the park than my soul riders, but i didn't ski that much groomers/all mountain on them. if you can get them for cheap, i'd recommend them very much!
skiing's not a show-off, everyone wins.
so overall, they are good and buttery in the park and rip on the groomers
I skied the original Rocker 108 for a day, so 12/13 year I think. Maybe it has changed a little since then but I really didn't like it much. In firm conditions it was pretty "meh"; poor much edge grip and not very stable at speed. In shallow soft snow it was fun enough but I remember thinking I'd have rather been on Bent Chetlers or similar skis that day even though the snow wasn't too deep as they would have skied everything better.

Also looking at this ski. Just curious on where to mount it. I'm from MN so I don't get powder, like ever. But I do go out west every once in a while and I go to Michigan where there can be powder. It wouldn't be my primary park ski but I would still like to use it in there every so often. I also plan on using it to skin with alpine trekkers.

buck has a park?
The recommended mount on them is farther forward then most pow skis (something like -3cm from center I read somewhere). The demos I used were at the recommended mount and I didn't feel like they would benefit from being farther forward. I thought they were easy enough to to spin and very easy to pivot compared to traditionally mounted skis their length.
