Mr.BishopYeah you can do whatever you want on any type of ski, but something built for those conditions is a lot more fun. I highly agree with trying to rent pow skis if you have a really good day... they are a huge pile of fun.
Yeah, of course, it'll be much more fun with some pow skis, but if he doesnt wanna buy some yet, then improving in pow with park skis is fine. Renting is optimal though, maybe it'll him wanna get a pow pair
