I recently bought vokl bridge skis which have a 95mm waste. I was looking to buy the rossignol fks 140 bindings but the only brake width they had was 95mm and 115mm. Which would be the right size for my skis?
95mm, you should never buy a brake more then 15mm larger then your ski waist because this can cause them to drag or catch. FKS brakes are also very hard to get replaced so the right size is crucial. Most brakes can fit up to ~3mm wider then the manufacture recommendation. AKA a 95mm brake will usually fit up to a 98mm ski waist, anything wider then that they will not fit or if it close a shop can bend the brakes.
