Pros in Avalanches?

so at 3:10 Eric gets himself in an avy, and he obviously makes it out even though they don't show it.

do you remember in all I can- or was it into the mind? But anyway Kye got burried by a pillow? Scary stuff.

what pros have got caught in avalanches? Have you got caught in an avalanche? Seems like there's a few edits each year where some pros have a close call

Not sure I really like this thread. A lot of good one have gone down in avys. Also a ton of pros who have made it out of them. I mean, some of these people are in the backcountry all the time riding some ridiculous terrain. Encountering some sort of slide at some point isn't that uncommon.

Yeah I wasn't trying to offend anyone and it can be a touchy subject since we've lost some good people to them.

Basically I just think it's crazy escaping avalanches, maybe I should I have called the thread that.

On a surious note though I feel advancments in avy tech and training should be the ski industries number one priority. Too many preventable deaths have occurred due to lack of available information.
