APSheWantsTheDI go to southwest too! The story behind it is school has always started at 8:30. The minneapolis school district is giving high schools the option to start 8:00 if they are trying to instate a 7 period day. Southwest already has had 7 periods with the 8:30 start time for the past several years. They are saying the earlier start time will allow them to add 2 extra minutes to each period. This seems pretty pointless to us students especially with all the recent studies showing that high school students need more sleep and how beneficial it is to puch school start times to be later, not earlier.
DobberWhat is wrong with 8? My school starts at 7:25
cornholiolol you pussies think you need 9-10 hours of sleep in high school... assuming you'd have to get up at 730 at the latest for 830 start you'd be going to bed at 930 the night before. i call bullshit, you're just being lazy
