Season Progression vs Injury's

Just curios what big fails and Accomplishments people had this season.
"Progression"
First year of rails. I got 450s off now, 270s off both ways,3s,5s,frontflips,backflips,surfaceswaps,kfeds,right switch ups,switch 180s and alot more.
FALLs
Slammed my back into rail trying 450 on. I thought I broke my spine i couldn't move for 5 minutes.
Fell and had ski cut my arm oped and i had to get 5 stitches.
got a minor concussion from trying a 540 mute grab.
Alot happened but I progressed so much this season. It was a great year. All the falls were worth it! Was your season great?

Hit a 65+ foot jump for the first time. Problems with my knees all year long. Cartilage damage in my right knee and tendinitis in my left.

Such a kickass season though. Just need more snow next year.

Got 4s, different rail variations on fleek. Worked on style for the last part of the season. Got cork 7s.
I have a couple more weekends so I'm hoping to get 6s, and I might try a dub backflip when I go out to Utah.

Injuries:

Massive hematoma on my right thigh. Still hasn't healed. Had to be catious with it.
Pinched nerve last Saturday, but it wasn't too serious. It almost completely healed.

Learned so much this season... I'm most proud of jumps, went from not doing a 360 to backflips front flips cork 3,5,7 plus reg spins, rodeos flat 3's Lincoln's and hopefully mistys tomorrow :D

First season skiing park, I set goals to get comfortable on rails, comfortable on 35 ft kickers and 360s. Accomplished all of those but ended up with 2 cracked ribs, 1 major hematoma on my arm from a rail, possibly a torn labrum, a stress fracture in my ankle, and still am recovering from a concussion.

It was a fucking awesome season

After being pissed about not trying anything last year I set 43 goal tricks and so far got 33 of them, the seasons basically over now though.

sprained my right knee twice this season. first time was a couple of months ago, didn't stay off it which i should've. and second time was today. it felt twice as bad as the first time i hurt it and i honestly thought i tore something but thankfully i can walk on it somewhat so it's probably not torn.

as for progression i started doing front swaps on every rail in the park and hit a lot of rails un-natural. also bought a camera and started filming a lot more so i'm stoked on that!

This year was fucking awesome. Discovered NS! Started skiing the park. Learned 3's, 3's with mute/blunt, backies, fronts, flat 3's, and still suck at rails, but this weekend im definitely going to focus on rails. The airbag at windham and the trampoline helped a lot (and some liquid courage here and there). As for injuries, I guess I lucked out, nothing major. Did get a ton of scrapes on my hips from sliding out and my old boots from surefoot fit so badly I pulled part of my calf. Overall though, I'm so glad I found this place, I learned so much about skiing and progression and how to have the max amount of fun on the mountain.

Oh and I decided I want to move out to Utah and chase pow, progression, and happiness.

I did not progress at all, actually regressed a little bit. Broken ankle in october(rail jam), broken wrist in december(fuckin gaper), torn lcl in January(back 2 off this wall ride to death). But I learned back swaps on narrow boxes and back surface swaps on tubes. So that was kinda cool. I spent half of february and all of march just fucking around with my best friend and I had a shit ton of fun. Probably more fun skiing than I ever had.

learned to ski last season on rentals, 1st real season of skiing this year, season was only 2 months here in stl, Missouri. Got comfortable on rails, lip on, front 2, on boxes got back 2, front & back swap. Jumps got backies, 1 and 3s off of 30 foot jumps. Best of all got good at super fat shiftys on lock which is all that matters.
Injuries was just huge hematoma on hip

First year skiing ever and I progressed quite a bit. Got 270s off both ways surface 3s, 5s etc, front swaps, lip on, switch on 180, 360, 540, backflip, almost got a frontflip just need to throw it on a bigger jump, idk what it is I just couldn't seem to get it on a jump I made but hopefully I'll get it on a park jump or something. But I still haven't gotten injured knock on wood, I mean I've had the minor bruises and what not but nothing serious.

Although I did get a hematoma on my hip from trying a surface 3 on a thin box and I ended up catching my front edge at about 270 and slamming into the box, that was probably the worst thing that has happened to me all season though I've been pretty lucky.

Didn't learn shit this year. Broke my ankle, knocked myself out a few times, and dislocated my shoulder more times than I can count.

Most fun season I've ever had.

I got 4s out both ways and finally learned 2s on, back swaps,learned a bunch of swap 2 out variations, dub swaps,backflips, cork 3s, 3s and 5s with grabs, worked on my style a ton so I wasn't such a boner. I sprained my knee in early January trying disaster 2 on a flat down and I dislocated my finger on a triple down. It was a great season I can't wait for next year!

Hell ya man! This was pretty much my first year of park and its so crazy how good I got compared to the beginning of the season. Its all thanks to having balls, Going multiple times a week,My backyardsetup, and mid west rope tows.

Backys,flat3s, 4s, 6, frontswap frontswap, and got balls to throw off bigger features. I accidentally did a 1 and a half off a jump and it hurt really bad, some rail falls, and landed on some kid who was standing in the landing and got a concussion.

do backyard setups count for claiming tricks? Don't get me wrong its great for learning but a little pvc pipe in your backyard and a 20 foot steel down rail are 2 different things
