Brand New AT tech bindings

I am selling a pair of fritschi vipec 12 tech bindings. These are brand new, never mounted never skied on. Comes in originol box. The brakes look like the can easily fit up to about 120 underfoot. But i would mount them without brakes anyway.

Im asking $300 for the bindings. Thats a hell of a deal!!! The retail at $600

I'm not experienced with AT stuff but why would you not use brakes and wouldn't it be a pain in the ass if your ski comes off in the back country and doesnt stop?
