I just posted this in the C.C.R. cult, but i want to share my story and moral of story with all of you too.

I just want to share with you what happens when you dont wait for someone to finish hitting a feature befor you try and hit it, Or you cut someone off on the way to a feature.

I was at tremblant thisafternoon and i was having an amazing day despite a spraned ankel. I was getting switch on to boxes, natural, unatural, switch off... i was having an awesome time. I went to hit the Rainbow box, i was waiting with a group of people, I called droping, i looked behind me and no one else was going so i figured i was in the clear. I got onto the box without enough speed and didnt make it all the way to the top.
I started to slide back down the box, stuck and fell backwards and to the right. My ski hit the blue stick beside the box and poped off right infront of the box's takeoff.

Then the A-hole on a snowboard came through. He tried to avoide my ski, but still hit it. I saw it as a blue but i imediatly checked my edges to see if they were ok. They were, i was relived. I looked around to see where the snowboarder had gone so i could yell at him or at least get an apology for runnin over my ski. He was nowhere insite.

another snowboarder with a camera saw me looking and pointed to the otherside of the box where i coudnt see. I thought the snowboarder had whiped out, so i started to walk around the box to see what kinda shape he was in and makesure he was alright befor i yelled at him. As i moved around the box and more of what was hidden came into site, i saw not a snowboarder on the ground, but half of the nose peice of my scratch 140 bindings.

I looked back at my ski, not beliveing what i had seen, and sure enough half the the nose was gone.

What pisses me off the most isnt that my binding is fucked, but that the snowboarder didnt even stop to apologize after following me into a feature, or even not hitting it after it was obvious that i was falling.

Please, everyone, Be courtious in the park and dont act like your next hit on somthing will be the last, It wont be. Dont risk ruining someone elses ability to ski, or your own by being an A-hole on the hill.

yah, he had just finised filming one of his friends doing a double kink at the time and didnt see what had happened to me. Just the peice of my binding.

This is a post for Skibum_. His computer wont let him sign onto NS and he wants to share what happened to him this previous week involving bad park etiquette

'I was hitting a rail and hit it and landed, but my binding released and I ended up skiing down the hill a ways. I started hiking to get it but this kid snwboarded up to it like he was going to pick it up. Instead, he falls beside it. Another snowboarder is hitting the rail because he didn't wait for me to finish and because the kid is on the landing, he has to jump onto my ski instead This takes a 2 inch by one inch gash out of the top sheet and 'exposes the core. This was the same week that Apple was up, he was with me. Tourists suck.'

as well, a few days earlier at tremblant, our buddy justin hit a rail and his ski popped of at the bottom. a snowboader above decided it was time to drop in to hit the rail even though justin was still in the landing, near his stray ski. so the boarder greases the rail and lands on justins tm's, breaking the tail. he apologizes and leaves quickly.

point is, dont drop in until a feature is totally clear, because two of my housemates for the week (justin aka skibum_ and thom aka apple) got screwed because of it.

yah, maybe. but maybe if you wernt born suck a jackass i would have to type out this response either and waste my time. I thought that i had enough speed, i almost made it to the top, but then i stoped and started to go the wrong way. Id done the box 8 or 9 times earler that day. Everyone makes mistakes... some are avoidable, like that snowboarders.

holy crap apple, thats gnarly. i would think rossi would warrenty that, they did when my heelpiece cracked . that is never cool, adn there will always be jerks out there. the only thing you can do is to be courteous and nice about it if your at fault, follow park ettiquete, adn keep your common sense and wits about you. if someone is hurt, stop, cross of the jump so they dont get landed on, or help them or something. it doesnt take any effort, adn that person at least knows someones looking out for them and that they care

it seems like this stage of life for a lot of people around our age is like when you are playing a video game and you beat the Final Boss, only to find out that was just a decoy Final Boss and the real Final Boss is about 50x harder. and on top of that, you used all your special tricks to beat the Decoy, and you are also low on life. and you have a crappy third party controller.

i was ahead of the kids i was riding with, no one saw him and he didnt stop... Lanks, Skibum_ and a few others tried to chase him down but couldnt find him.

The best part of this story though is that after this happened and i was havving alot of trouble skiing down the hill on one ski, this kid named Micheal, who was probaly no older than 14 offered me his ski so i could get down faster. His boots were just a size too small. it was so dope, and mike, if you read this, thanks man. It was apreciated.

maybe you should do some research. Then you would realize that the rossi scratch 140 binding is their top of the line freestyle binding. those bindings cost me the same as my ski's...

Probably, but people still aern't following. This weekend, a skier was booking it through the park treating it like a slopestyle, and not waiting in lines or for peopel to move. He was being filmed but thats no excuse, he should of came att he beginning of the day when there were no one in the park.

There are so many people that ski liek they must hit every hit. If someone falls, wait, or keep going, the hit will be there in 10 minutes still, if someone is hurt, stop and block the hit, you'll have to wait at most 10 minutes before the patrol comes.

Yeah at a small hill close to my house i was sliding this small rail/box the whole day. At the end of the day on my last run it had gotten much colder. I go back to the run with the small rail and just as i'm about to hit it i see ice has formed ontop of it... I had already committed to sliding the thing so it was too late. THe ice smoked me and i fell off and 1 ski popped off. Then right away i hear 'Get out of the way!' and hebind me some small kid on a snowboard is coming at the box, hits ice and lands on his face, of course his buddy was not far behind him and did the same thing to his ass... Now I had no time t get up, i just crawled or rolled away from the box and lucky they box fell off the other side of it. Looking back I should have been mad and told them they should have waited but i guess i was in a good mood

i am a beginner...wats the big deal, everyone has to start somewhere, and at my hill we dont have an advanced and beginner park, just one where everyone gets along, thats why when someone with an attitude like u comes threw, ppl tend to not let them pass without any trouble

vantownloc, if someone crashes in the take of the a feature, in plain view of everyone following them and is blocking the take off there is no way that anyone should try and hit it. I would have been honestly 15 seconds getting out of the way with my ski. That snowboarder had lots of space to go around, but he didnt. 15 seconds. thats not to much to ask.
