I have an xr2000 and its Balanced pretty much perfectly on the what one would call front to back axis and the left to right axis, I have a 2.5 second drop time which is pretty good but when I start walking or walking moderately fast the bottom goes back and the shots are aimed more towards the ground than straight out, solutions, what am I doing wrong ?
Really it just sounds like it isn't as perfectly balanced as you think. You want to ride the line with as little weight as possible on the bottom or the rig. Also you'll want to have the arm retracted as far as possible. Really though its going to be trial and error, just keep tweaking it till it works. Once its well balanced you should be able to hold it by just the handle and shake it around hard as you can and the camera will stay level and pointed in the same direction.
