Poking around the threads here on Newschoolers and talking to chicks on the hill, I think most of us agree that the majority of women's gear well.... kinda sucks. So I was pretty stoked last winter when I heard about a group of ripping women who decided to start designing skis and boards for women who rip! I got in touch with the founder and I've been helping out as an ambassador to help spread the word ever since.
The company is called Coalition Snow and we launched our first line of skis and boards this winter. I've posted a few articles about the company if you're interested...

but I'm curious what you ladies think? are skis and boards designed by women the solution to the shrink and pink model?
if you're interested in more information here's where to find it.
