Anyone else NOT gone skiing yet?

East coast represent...

Here in upstate NY, we got one REALLY awesome snowstorm of 9 inches, and then it all melted and ever since the weather here has just been abysmal. Rain after rain. I want to go skiing but the mountain has like 6 trails open and no park for full price tickets

I would say just go out and ski, if you haven't gone skiing yet then might as well. When in doubt butter it out.

I guess it is all relative. I could only dream of having what upstate NY has to offer.

My closest hill within 2 hours drive is a man made 200ft vertical, 3 runs and no park. I bus it there with all my gear and it takes an hour and a half; all for the love of skiing.

i live in western new york and the one resort i have a friday night pass to opened november 21, bit the shithole resort i got my seasons to still isnt open (its less than 5 min from my house). im pissed cause the snow hasnt even been all that bad, i mean we had 5 feet in one storm. gettin pretty pissed off now.

i haven't skied yet this year since i'm still recovering from surgery but not a huge deal since my piece of shit east coast poconos mountains don't have a full park set up yet. hopefully i'm only another 2-3 weeks out from cruising and rails. probably no jumps until end of season. maybe get some airbag work in.
