SPskier543They have just as much right to be there as you do, contrary to many peoples belief one here that tall tees and oversized clothing make you a partial owner of the mountain. Just avoid them to your best ability and stop giving park skiers a bad rep among the skiing community.
Moon_ShoesDo they have the right to be in the park? Yes. Do they have the right to cut people off, stand on the landing of jumps, and make conditions extremely dangerous? Fuck no.
Ryan_HansenPee in their butts
saskskierHow about instead of being a dick, give them some information on park etiquette. Some people legitimately don't know any better and you getting pissed off at them and cutting them off definitely isn't going to improve the situation.

PeppermillRenoGapers should be given no more thought than a mogul or a tree they are obstacles and scenery and nothing else to you. Its weird skiing on an empty hill anyways.
The only humans for which you should even knowledge their existance are lifties, ski patrol, other good skiiers you interact with, and friendly folks on the lift. Noone else should be paid any attention this includes all forms of awful skiiers and snowboarders again they are not part of your mountain community they are merely impediments like a rock or a tree or a mogul however they are people too and none deserve their day impacted by you initiating any crap ski past and never see them again.

ralphbrendonTwo weeks ago i got cut off by a Gaper and Dislocated my hip. After I did that he would't even help me get to the lodge.
californiagrownThis is actually one of the best posts ive ever seen on NS. Seriously.
Lord_Swegatroni normally approach them nicely and say that they are either in a dangerous place or are gettign in the way. If they are cool, then its over, but if they are stubborn, i always bring up the fact that on the sign in front of the park it says "freestyle skills required" and that the etiquette is posted and that they have to follow it.
moral of the story, don't start with the dick attitude, but sometimes you need it.
