Look Pivot 12s or 14s. Fischer Attack 13s or16s

How on earth did you max out 13 din bindings at 5'8" and an average skier?

But I would suggest the sth2 14. One if not the best binding on the market.

Average is pretty relative, I grew up riding in Alaska, mostly big mt and cliffs on park skis. I've only had 3 pairs of bindings for a total of about 9-10 years now. Firsts was the z10s, then the rossi axial 12s or 14s (clear dildo style), then the griffons. I also had a pair of jesters on jjs but sold them after a half season. Everyone my whole life has been telling me FKS are the way to go, and the Jester curved toe piece has been really good to me, which makes me think the attacks would be a good option

I havent really considered the STH 14s, should I go with the Atomic or salomon versions, and is there a difference between this years STH (yellow) and last years (white/gold)?

This thread might turn into a debate about bindings, but honestly if the markers have been working for you, then just get some jesters and call it good.

If you are looking to try a different binding on the other hand, I have gradually started to dislike my FKS bindings... Holy shit dejavu... Anyway you won't find any problems with the new STH2 from what I've heard ( although not a fan after seeing them in person) or the Tyrolias which are arguably the best mix of binding designs on the market, but you will always have people saying that they will swear by FKS. FKS has its own fanbus, but with good reason. Realistically they are outdated, and I know more then a few insane park skiers who agree with me on not being a huge fan of FKS's, but if you don't habe problems with them, they will be a great binding for someone like you.

Is it important to get the attack 16s over the 13s? same with STHs?

As far as I can tell by looking at them (attacks), the only difference is the spring. They both appear to have the same amount of plastic / metal. I work in a shop that sells both and I have asked guys at other shops and they came to the same conclusion.

The same can not be said for the STH2 series. Salomon really dropped the ball on this one. The 13 is all plastic, the 16 is much beefier. I realized this after buying the 13 (still a great binding). It's not like the old STH where every heel, regardless of din, had that beefy metal track.

attack 16s r super bomber and light, and can be adjusted for different bsl's, which the pivots have a hard time accomplishing...go with the attacks
