Where to mount?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about getting a pair of Armada Alpha x's and I was wondering where I should mount them. I'm skiing about 65% percent all mountian\powder, then 35% park.
I'm thinking 3-5cm back from true center.
Please let me know if I'm on the right track!

Any help would oe appreciated!

about 3cm back from true centre will suit you well

I'd go factory recommended, which I believe is 2.5 back from true center. I have mine there and love it. They spin super well, and rip pretty nicely for a park ski. Been riding a number of Armadas the last several years, and their factory recommended mounting has been legit.

2-3 cm back will be fine. I wouldn't go more than 5 back for park.

Will there be a noticeable difference between 2.5 and center for park? I ski mostly park and it worries me that center isn't recommended. I took them to the shop to get mounted and went like 1.5 back but I can still change it.

I moved from a dead center mount to a -2.5 back mount a few seasons ago, and didn't notice a thing (Alpha 1s and Halos). Still skied switch like a charm, spun just as quickly for small and big rotations, and skied better riding forward. The place where it IS noticeable is carving and charging. If you're literally never going to step outside a park with the skis, it probably doesn't matter, but if you end up occasionally skiing groomers or off piste with them, 2.5 back will feel better.

i have them -1 from center and i love them, but i wanted them mainly for the park so thats little different, they are okay in the deeper stuff when you get some speed...
