Picking up a cam before the season hits but still a bit caught between options here. Anyone have any input as to how the Sony is going to hold up against the new gopro4 (Silver and Black)? Heard great reviews on the actioncam.
Michael_ThatcherThe Hero 4 black is gonna be at the top of the action camera lineup as far as quality goes. It's $500 though which is the big downside.
Tom Wallisch uses it though so it has to be good...
I'm going to be getting a black soon, but the silver is still super legit. Also, if you don't need the touchscreen, you can get a hero 3+ black (you can even get the touchscreen back separately, just a little bulkier than the new silver) for around $300.
gopro for sure! wether you get the 3+ or the 4, both will be great if your looking for POV. still good for follow cam but not as good as a DSLR of course
