I'd probably hold onto Bell, you have a lot of depth at WR, and like you said, if Bush goes down he's going to be a stud. There's a lot of mouths to feed in Denver, Sanders will have great games, but it won't be very consistent I don't think. Look at Demaryius' game last week.

Honestly, what I would do if I were you is package Bell with one of those WRs you have, just not Dez (Crabtree jumps out at me because he is a known name with upside, but injury prone) and try to land a second stud WR like AJ, Julio, or Thomas for example.

Curious as well...picked up hurns thinking about putting him in maybe give him another week to put some numbers up. Looks like a promising player though. Bunch of stuff written up about him in preseason / summer about his upside potential

I resisted picking him up which was hard because every time I went to the waiver those 27 points he put up were staring at me but when I heard Lee hurt himself I couldn't resist any longer. Right now I'm sticking with Hawkins but if Hurns lines up on Sunday as the number 1 guy against Washington's secondary it's going to be hard not to start him

one thing to be wary of is only one player who had a stud first game went on to be a stud all season last year... remember ogeltree? yah neither do i... so just be careful.

That's true but Ogletree was never the guy. He was in the right place at the right time for one game but after that he was the 4th option behind Dez, Witten, and Austin. Hurns has had a lot of people talking throughout preseason and if Lee doesn't suit up then Hurns is the number 1 receiver and will be getting a lot of looks in an offense without a lot of guys to look to. He could easily see 12 targets next week without Lee and would still probably see 8 if Lee does indeed play

should gone leveon bell he is a stud. arian foster is such a big injury risk. Your first two picks are going to lose it for you if you choose badly, so try go with the person who seems the safest. not always the case but its the rule of thumb I use.

Gerhart, he has proven he can get yardage when he gets touches. Monitor his ankle and if it seems not 100 hurns isn't a bad play this weekend just I really don't see him producing at all after this week. Especially with shorts coming back.

Wes Welker might be cleared to play Sunday, keep an eye on that, any news would be appreciated.


Here's my situation, PPR league: Brandon Marshall might be out on Sunday and he plays the Sunday night game. If he is a game time decision and does not suit up that really only leaves me 3 options and none of them are great. The best option is probably Santonio Holmes on the Bears and he will be my choice if both Marshall and Alshon don't suit up. The other options are Jordan Matthews and Brent Celek on the Eagles, Matthews being the favorite of the two

I doubt it will be as severe, unless hes just beating his kids willy nilly. A few spankings, 3 game ban. But he is inactive for Sunday. So glad I didn't draft him.

Yeah me too. I havent really heard much but it sounds like he took it too far. Like leaving marks on a 4 year old is pretty uncalled for.

I mean there is some truth in that. I'm not sure how hard he beat his kid but spankings yada yada are not really that unheard of for his generation.

Also picked up asista hoping he does well. Traded two rbs away for jordy nelson so hopefully I get good production.

Broncos' Wes Welker has to be on 53-man roster by 2 p.m. or he can't play Sunday vs. Chiefs. New drug deal by 2 p.m. doesn't seem likely.

hadn't seen the photos when i posted that. just googled them and saw some pics of the kids legs. IMO it doesn't look terrible. maybe the age is on the young side but daddy should be able to discipline if the kids dont act right. i'd feel differently if it was just beating on the kid for the hell of it but i'm ok with him being able to do what he wants.

I think you need to be around 4 year olds more often. They don't have the capacity to do anything bad with serious intent. Hitting them at that age isn't parenting, it's just creating a Pavlovian response. And he drew blood. I'm not gonna say you can't spank your child but you can't draw blood

Too build on this, Who's to tell someone how to discipline their kids, shit my dad told me he went home with bloody knuckles every sunday school from the nuns smacking his hands with rulers. This aint shit.. Kids wouldn't be so fucked these days had they grown some character like in the older days.

Johnson and Gerhart. Both have good matchups, Spiller is poison, and Cam Newton will be a little rusty and under pressure all day long, Benjamin won't have many opportunities

Thinkin Colston and Edelmen, but CJ seems like he could have a good game against the packers.

i like the holmes option if marshall doesnt play. game time decisions suck because you never know if they'll play the whole game or only a few snaps
