SkibumsmithA good pop is key when you're throwing air maneuvers on skis. Adding ankle weights doesn't really simulate hitting a jump on skis but you can sort of get a feel for how much harder you'll have to pop off the lip with the added weight of skis/boots.

MinggWe used to do this all the time in gymnastics but I haven't don't it for skiing. It definitely couldn't hurt. I'd imagine it gives you the feeling of skis on your feet. Do it up dude.
